Whether you’ve booked a private airport transfer, a shared shuttle, or minibus hire, we aim to provide flexible, fair, and transparent cancellation terms. Please read our policy carefully to ensure you understand your rights and responsibilities when cancelling or amending a booking.

Cancellation & Refund Policy | Galway Shuttle

Free Cancellation – Up to 48 Hours Before Travel

You can cancel or amend your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time. This applies to all services including:

  • Private transfers

  • Shared shuttle (if confirmed)

  • Group bookings & minibus hire

How to Cancel or Amend Your Booking:

We always recommend contacting us as early as possible to allow time for processing and support.


 

✅ Late Cancellation – Less Than 48 Hours Before Travel

 

If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your scheduled travel, you will be charged the full amount of your booking.

This policy is in place due to the advanced planning, driver scheduling, and vehicle preparation that goes into each journey.

 


 

✅ No-Show Policy

 

If the passenger fails to show up at the pickup location and has not contacted us in advance, the booking will be considered a no-show and no refund will be issued.

 

✅ Airport Pick-Up Waiting Time

For all airport transfers, the driver will wait up to 90 minutes from the time the flight lands.
If, for any reason, passengers are not present within this 90-minute waiting window, the booking will be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

If delays occur, it is the passenger’s responsibility to contact us as soon as possible so we can try to assist, subject to availability.


✅ Administrative Fee

 

A standard €20 administration fee may apply to any amendments or cancellations, even within the free cancellation window.

 

✅ Amendments to Your Booking

 

If you wish to change your travel time, location, or number of passengers, you may request an amendment at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee availability for last-minute changes.

 

Please note: an administration fee of €20 may apply for amendments or cancellations to cover processing costs.

 

✅ Refund Process

 

If you are eligible for a refund (as per this policy), we will process your refund within 5–10 working days. Refunds will be returned to the original payment method (credit/debit card or PayPal).
